Rapid response to a warranty issue made my day. The clip that holds the unit closed broke, I suspect one must he careful to hold the red button down while closing the ‘brella. New unit was shipped the next day. Solid umbrella, locking mechanism needs operator awareness.

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted it to rain until now just to try this out. It was windy, rainy, gloomy and just plain nasty. I reach for the Kingston FX1 and say, “Baby do your work.” Getting out of the vehicle just push the button and a glorious canopy opens. It has good integrity and really fulfills its promise. It stood up to the wind with no problems. I liked it so much I bought the traveler umbrella as well. Quality materials and quality build. Buy with confidence!

Excellent. The only improvement I would urge is a sling to carry it over your shoulder since it is a bit weighty.
It's awkwardly tall to use as a walking stick. I'm 5'8' though so maybe the tall folks out there would find it to be a bonus.I returned it before testing it in action, but it seemed sturdy and looked really nice in my opinion. I'm kind of sad it didn't work out.

My wife loves this umbrella. She prefers a crook handle and has had trouble finding a large, windproof umbrella that has the hook until this one. It seems very well made and is working very well for her. My wife uses her umbrella as a wind break and has had trouble finding one that will stand up to the wind.My wife used the umbrella often while she was at work. It was a windbreak when needed and sometimes a sunscreen and of course to keep the rain off. After about two years one of the stays broke on a breezy day and it became mainly unusable. It was a good umbrella while it lasted. We don't know what the life expectancy of an umbrella should be but it was a good one while it lasted.

I have been SO happy with this umbrella! It has a nice weight to it, a strong handle and tip with a rubber-like texture, and a nice big canopy. I was really impressed by not only the quality of this umbrella, but also that it auto-opens with the press of a button (which from my experience is quite novel). It is a classy upgrade to older 'fancy' umbrellas, and great for shielding yourself or yourself and a significant other =).I received a discount on this umbrella with the understanding that I would review it honestly, whether positively or negatively.

I bought this umbrella to replace my second cheap, broken home improvement store umbrella, and it has been an enormous improvement. It is sturdy, appears well-made, and wide enough to cover two people. It dries extremely quickly, and water shakes right off of it. The cover is an excellent addition, which I appreciate immensely. I've not had it long enough to speak to its long-term reliability, but am hopeful.
I always wanted a bigger umbrella for me and my wife instead of only having two smaller ones for each other. I looked around a lot on amazon and I found this one for a discount so I went through with the purchase. I got the maroon colored one and was very pleases with color of the umbrella, I'm so glad I didn't get black as I feel it would of looked to plain. On first impression the umbrella looks very solid and strong and the material of the cover feels very sturdy. the curved handle has good grip but can get a couple of scratches on it if your not careful. it also comes with a sleeve to the keep the umbrella in while you are keeping it stored away. Opening this umbrella was quite fun for me, it gives off a big burst of air when opened and it has a big span to easily fit two people. This umbrella hold up in wind very easily and looks great. I would definitely buy this umbrella again.
Very nice solid design. Feels strong like it won't bend the opposite way that it's supposed to with a stiff wind. Although it catches the wind and pulls pretty hard. I feel like having a double top is the best design because it allows air to vent between the two sections when there is a big gust of wind instead of pulling you and the umbrella with it. This is the only reason I am giving it a 4 stars. It does deserve a 5 star for build quality with the price factored in.
